Objects in Time

Now that Christmas shopping is in full swing, I would like to draw your attention to a book Quartet published late last year which, despite the adverse conditions at the time, fared better than expected.

It is a lush photographic book with a difference.

It is art motivated by love, exemplified by a secret eroticism that takes your breath away and leaves you in a state of effervescence hard to define.

As a watch connoisseur, with decades of retail experience, I can adequately describe Venus in similar terms as the famous Patek Philippe brand which boasted its watches as ‘you never actually own a Patek Philippe, you merely look after it for the next generation’.

The difference between Venus and the watchmaker is that the disparity in price between the two makes Venus more affordable. As Christmas approaches, remember Venus in your plans and offer it to your loved ones as a token they can truly cherish.

Even Patek Phillippe will, I reckon, be proud to own a copy of the book.
